MB - 1 Styrofoam boards adhesive mortar

MB-1

Adhesive mortar MB-1 is an elastic, water and freeze resistant mortar, steam passing with increased adherence, intended to styrofoam boards glueing on both interiors and exteriors of the building. It may also be used to level small declines. MB - 1 mortar os a thin layer mortar.

Appropriate surfaces:

Concrete, porous concrete, mineral stuccos, gypsum plasters, plaster-cardboard panels, anhydryte and cement estrichs, bricks and other construction ceramics. It is not recommended to use the mortar on the beaverboards.

Surface properties:

The surface must be clean, durable, free of anti-adhesive mediums, dry and flat. Highly absorptive surfaces ( plasters, plaster-cardboard panels ) are recommended to be painted initially with the primer. Anhydrate estrichs should be polished, hoovered and also primed. Concrete surfaces should not be younger than 6 months, plasters and estrichs - 4 weeks. Flaking surfaces should be scratched, primed and leveled. Irregularities should be finished and leveled.

Usage:

The containigs of the bag ( 25 kg ) should be mixed, using slow rotating mechanical mixer with 5,50 - 6,00 liters of clean water. Mixed mass should be left for approximately 5 - 10 minutes, and then mixed again. MB - 1 adhesive mortar should be applied to the board at the inner side, on the whole surface or with the point - edge method with the stripes around the perimeter of the board and also 6 - 8 uniformly spread spots. Such prepared board should be pressed to the surface and immobilized by the technical fitting. Working should be avoided during the rain, strong wind or insolation.
