Adhesive Mortar MB-3
Adhesive mortar MB-3 is a freeze resistant mortar used for glaze and terracotta glueing as well as leveling small declines. It can be used both for interiors and exteriors. It is waterproof, easy in use and efficient mortar.
Appropriate surfaces:
Concrete, porous concrete, mineral stuccos, gypsum plasters, plaster-cardboard panels, anhydryte and cement estrichs.
Surface properties:
The surface must be clean, free of dust, durable and free of anti-adhesive mediums dry and clean. Highly absorptive surfaces ( plasters, plaster-cardboard panels )suche i równe. Podłoża o dużej chłonności (tynki gipsowe, surowe płyty gipsowo-kartonowe) are recommended to be painted initially with the primer. Anhydrate estrichs should be polished, hoovered and also primed. Concrete surfaces should be younger than 6 months, plasters and estrichs - 4 weeks. Irregularities should be finished or leveled with the self-leveling mass.
Usage:
The containigs of the bag ( 25 kg ) should be mixed, using slow rotating mechanical mixer with 5,25 - 6,00 liters of clean water. Mixed mass should be left for approximately 5 - 10 minutes, and then mixed again. With a notched trowel apply the amount of the glue needed for the tiles placement for 20 minutes. Precisely placed tiles should be pressed. After drying the glue should be removed from the welds. Pointing the mortar can be started after complete drying of the glue, however no earlier than after 24 hours. Adhesive mortar should not be used in the surrounding temperature lower than 5oC. In the floor and wall tile weldings sanitary silicone in appropriate color should be used.
