Mineral stucco MB-4K with the “scratched” facture
Mineral stucco with the “scratched” structure MB - 4K is produced in 2,5 mm; and 4,0 mm grain sizes.,Iit is intended to thin-layer, steam passing, interior and exterior plastering. Especially recommended as an elevation finishing for heat insulation systems based on MAGBUD styrofoam. Standard color is white.
Appropriate surfaces:
Concrete, porous concrete, mineral stuccos, gypsum plasters, adhesive plasters for the mesh submerge, in heat insulation systems.
Surface properties:
The surface must be dry, flat, durable and free of anti-adhesive mediums Highly absorptive surfaces should be primed with MAGBUD SUPER G. Surfaces made of MB - 2 adhesive mortar or other intended to mesh submerging can not be younger than three days. In case of irregularities, finishing with universal mortar MB - 1 is recommended.
Usage:
Mix the containings of the bag with 5,0 - 5,5 liters of clean water using mechanical, slow rotating mixer until the mass is homogenous and lump free. Leave the mixture for 5 - 10 min. and then mix again. The mass is usabe for 40 minutes. Apply the grain-thick layer of the plaster with the stainless steel trowel. After approximately 10 minutes (depending on weather conditions and surface absorption), when the mass does not stick to the trowel any more, grind the plaster with the bruised plastic trowel. The facture is dependent on the direction of grinding (vertical, horizontal, round or mixed channels may be achieved). Surplus of the plaster, after another mixing can be used again. Whole wall should be plastered at once, without interruptions. In case of the need of stopping the work, finishing the plaster with sharp edge by the sticky tape is recommended. Freshly made elevation should be covered from excessive drying, sun or wind, with the foil spread on the scaffolding.
Technical data:
- Dry plaster usage ok. 4,5 kg/m2
- Ready time approx. 40 min.
- Application temperature + 8 do + 25°C
- Mixing proportions 5,0 - 5,5 l of water/25 kg dry plaster
