Acrylic plaster MB-AKR

MB-AKR acrylic plaster is a modern, easily processed, elastic, extreme conditions resistive, washable, hydrofobic, highly diffusive plaster. It can be used as a outer, decorative and protective layer in a MAGBUS heat insulation system, and as a decorative plaster for interior or exterior building elements.

Surface properties:

The surface must be dry and strong, should absolutely be primed before with MAGBUD SUPER G primer. Questionable surfaces (disrupted plaster, flaking paint, etc.) should be cleaned well and leveled with MB-1 mortar. In case of using the plaster in light-wet method insulation system, the reinforcement layer should not be younger than 3 days and the cement or cement-lie surfaces should not be younger than 28 days. Algae or fungus appearing, should be definitely removed.

Usage:

Before application, the mass should be intensively mixed using the slow rotating mixer. To obtain the proper consistency it is acceptable to add small amount of water (no more than 0,2l per each package). The amount of the water added should be equal for every package. The plaster should be applied in a grain-thick layer with angled stainless steel trowel. After short time, when the mass no longer glues to the tools, the surface should be formed with specific facture using flat plastic trowel. To use the homogenic structure and color of the plaster, the mass should be applied for the whole surface. Freshly plastered elevation should be covered with the foil spread on the scaffolding, protecting from too rapid drying, wind or sun. Plastering should be avoided during rain, strong wind or insolation.

Notice:

In case of direct contact of the product with eye, it should be plentifully washed and counsel the doctor. The product contains mineral aggregates, which may cause difference in shade of the production portions. Because of that, it is recommended to use thew same portion of the product on one surface, ehich number is stated on the packaging. Addition of the water may cause plaster's process properties' and color change.
